Going Thursday rain or shine! Have to leave Saturday. Come Thursday Mule. You won't melt!
Was just there over the weekend. Plenty of water... I hand cut and drug 3 logs for night fires....gonna be a good time.
The only Easy day was yesterday.
Due to sudden work schedule I will not be down till Saturday afternoon. Good news Batlight is coming with me !
Is there not going to be a raffle Saturday night ? I guess I will not be bringing my Pappy Van Winkle 25 year old for the raffle !
I'm taking "plenty of water" as there is a water source that we can filter and purify for drinking purposes. Are these streams, ponds, puddles, lakes, or do I need to take a cloth and wipe dew from the leaves to rehydrate after a night of drinking? Also, is drinking allowed in the camp?
Get lost in the woods and find yourself again. A vacation,to me, is working with your hands and surviving because of the fruits of your labor. In the business world I teach;in the natural world I learn.
2 streams at the site. If you don't treat your water, I recommend getting it upstream of the herd. LOL.

"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver
My current plan is to roll in by midnight or earlier on Thursday. I'll try to tip-toe in.
See you all soon.

I'm planning on going Thursday too.
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.
