My custom Boone 40 is in the mail! I can't wait to not have to deal with a separate underquilt.

I love my Boone 40! Alex is a great guy and he makes a top notch product. I did an overnight down to about 38 and the 40 was plenty (for me anyway) to keep me nice and toasty. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the market.

Just explored his site and like the design. And he's a fellow Kentuckian. As I gather hammocks for the sons I will get one of these and put it through the paces.

While I do not own one, I did have a chance to check them out at the Florida Hang and they are some nice looking hammocks.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

Any chance Sheltowee will be at the Spring MAHHA this weekend? Those are interesting hammocks there. Just perfect for what my son is wanting.

This seems like a win, all the way around especially for someone new looking to cover all the essentials! Any one have any cons on this system? Does the bug net work well, it seems they would find there way under the netting???

I won't make it to MAHHA this weekend, but it is definitely on my list of hangs to make this year.

The net design does a good job of deterring flying insects but a crawling one could find its way inside as it's not totally enclosed. But the trade off is its ease of use. being able to enter or exit quickly and easily from either side is a nice feature. I'm working on a zippered netting version that I know a lot of people are interested in!

What? A zippered netting version? Hope it can be an add on to my Boone 20 degree. I will send it back asap for testing
