Editing first post of trip planning thread.

Is there a way to allow the OP of a trip planning thread to continue to be able to edit the first post once the usual time limit has expired. I think it would be helpful. Some of these threads can get pretty long and as details change I think it would be helpful if people can just refer to the first post for the latest info.

    Thanks again guys

No. However, any moderator would be happy to edit a thread to add a date, etc. as plans are firmed up, but don't expect us to repeatedly make changes.

It is best to PM one of us with the exact changes/wording you want so that we only need to cut and paste as much as possible.

ya that's what I've done in the past. I was just hoping there was a setting or something that could be adjusted so we could deal with it directly and not have to bother you guys with it.
    Thanks for the info.
