As usual something always comes up right as the trip nears. My girlfriends great grandmother passed away and the viewing/funeral is 9AM-1PM tomorrow. I think we may still come out tomorrow evening and join the group since it's more or less on the way back.

With that being said, what is the easiest way to Hell's Kitchen? I haven't been over in that area.

Edit: Since you'll be by Creation Falls, is that the waterfall next to Rock Bridge? If that's the Hell's Kitchen area then I have been there and just didn't know it.

We won't be making this hang. It's our first weekend back after hiking the AT for a month. Needless to say, we have a lot of chores to catch up on. Hope y'all's trip is wonderful!! Happy trails

Great seeing everyone and had a blast.

    Jackie,

Next offical group hang will probably be in Dec for the funky chicken. These group hangs just take up alot of my sparetime with a 60%no show rate sometimes becomes alot of time wasted.

Would have loved to meetup with the group but it was not to be. We hiked from Koomer Ridge campground to Gray's Arch and on to Hanson's Point where we stayed Friday night. Saturday morning tried to raise CorrosiveCookie by radio on ch 5 without success. Hiked Rough Trail passed Pitchemtight and Koomer Ridge trails and on to Swift Camp Creek trail and along it past the large group site to camp Saturday night in the Hells Kitchen area. Hiked out Sunday morning finishing at around 10am.

I am glad you had a great trip! Should have come out to Ft ancient Friday night. We probably just missed y'all cause it seems the timing was just a bit off. the next one will be in December.
