    REI Garage Sale Hang

I'm currently chilling in my setup right outside of REI waiting for the Garage Sale. Second in line!

I brought a stand I made not really intending to use it, but I ended up finding a spot for it so I'm hanging.

This is the first Garage Sale I've been to and the people out here have been pretty cool. Looking forward to the morning and hoping my setup doesn't fail me in the night!

Bawhahaha that is excellent. Best of luck scoring some great gear! You will be the most well rested shopper for sure. In fact, just make sure you wake up in time.

    Great stuff!

Can't wait to hear what you scored. Do tell do tell!
I went last weekend and didn't find anything worthwhile (not that I need anything at this point). . Tons of people though!

Great pic out in front of the store. I hope you find what you're looking for.

It may seem ironic but the main item I was after was a nice comfortable sleeping pad. Setting up a hammock in really strange ways like in the picture above is fun, but it isn't always practical or even possible.

The first pad I picked up was actually the exact pad I was looking for, which was the Nemo Astro Insulated Lite.

Other than that I got an Rei brand inflatable pillow, camp towel, pants, a Marmot Kompressor Day Pack, a random bag from what I think was a camp chair, a set of Dakine liner gloves and mittens, and last but not least a single Black Diamond Ultra Distance Z-Pole.

Everything I bought was in new condition except for the sleeping pad which is covered in stains, but it doesn't have any leaks.

I don't know if I'll garage sale often but I'll definitely do it again.

That's a new one to me. I didn't know they had lines for those sales.

That's a cool way to wait. Calm before the storm of rei members wanting a deal. Their sales can be awesome ,sometimes they suck. Looks like you got some good deals though. I've seen people fighting over a backpack, like the black friday sales.

Hilarious. I've been to several yard sales but never camped out. That would be fun.
