    Climb or Hang?

It's the second day of spring and 65°+...I wanted to hang and I wanted to tree climb...so...might as well combine them.

Gathered the gear, short walk in the woods, climbed to 80' and found a spot at 60' and set up the hammock. I was definitely ready to lay back by then.

I had way too much sag and the head end was higher than the foot end. However, since it was not an easy "walk" from one end to the other, I decided to live with it.

Poor quality cell phone photos...obligatory foot shots...

Finally got to use my Dutch Cinch Bugs...

All in all, a good time was had.

Looks like a great hang spot.

When you test a new Dutch suspension, you might as well go to great heights to do it. It passed my test.

A little higher than I would like, but it definitely gives a new perspective.

It's a great way to take a good look and make sure there are no widow makers overhead.

You ARE the widow maker! I love trees but I prefer the ground perspective. Awesome pictures!

Guess you don't have to worry about any animals "nudging" you. Awesome pictures!

How are you liking your cinch bugs? I'm still waiting on mine to come in.

I should have familiarised myself with them on the ground. It was a bit fiddly using them the first time while holding my position in the tree.

I think they will be very nice under more normal conditions. They weigh nothing and the hammock continuous loop attached easily and securely to them.

That's good. I'm going on a camping trip this weekend so hopefully I'll be able to test them there.
