AHE bear pillow here. Works perfect for me.

I also use an AHE Bear pillow and love it. I didn't want too much stuffing in it or it wouldn't be comfortable. Paul made me a pillow with 2" fill and it's perfect.

I just made one out of ripstop and leftover climashield from my underquilt project. Sewed a channel around the inside of the pillow and put a drawcord and cord lock on it. That way I can cinch the drawcord to adjust the firmness or softness. It works great although I think I'd use different fabric next time.

Nemo fillo pillo. Attached compression sack. Packs up about fist size. Has a loop to attach a tether to it. I hook the tether to a prusset on my ridge line. A little expensive @ $50 but worth it to me.

I'm making them to match the hammocks. Half (insert hammock mat -ie multicam ) and other half HyperD to match inside of quilt with a loop to hook up. I too only need a smaller pillow for
My neck and the Climashield packs to less than a fist size sack.

I just finished a down topquilt using HyperD as my shell and I agree this would be much nicer than my aforementioned ripstop one.
In fact I had some HyperD left over! That might just be what I do with it!

I made a small pillow from an old fleece shirt. Made it just the right size and fluff for my head. And as far as DIY projects go, it doesn't get much easier than a pillow.

I notice that the pillow facilitated side sleeping much more comfortably for me than my previous attempt of inflatable pillow and fleece jacket in a stuff sack etc..

I am also looking at the bear pillow due to size.

Thanks for all the input y'all! I've found the hammock gear pillow. Black rock pillow among others listed here..

I think I'm still leaning to the bear pillow for size/weight etc.

How does 20d compare to 1.1 for comfort / weight?

I use a grand trunk that is set up like ^^that^^. Got it for $7. Love that I can easily adjust it for reading or sleeping.

I use the cheap travel pillow from walmart. It's small, doesn't way much and is enough. At home I have a couple pillows under my knees, in the field I use my pad on warm weather OR the contents of my backpack and figure 4 my legs but at home that sucker is more comfortable then my recliner.
