I've got a second permit reserved starting Saturday.
And my buddy has confirmed. Now I just need to convince him to use a hammock.

Hi everyone, I'm very interested in attending. Won't be able to commit 100% until the week of due the project I'm currently on.
I've got a solo canoe so I'm good there.
Currently looking for a suitable UQ for my hammock setup - anyone have something for sale? I sold my cuben UQ last fall and have not found a replacement.
Welcome aboard Distortedaxis, hope to see you up there.

12-13+! Sounding like a great turnout.
Did anyone have their heart set on a group dinner? If not, do we want to simply say everyone brings their own food?
I'll be bringing my axe and saw, so if anyone's considering leaving their's behind we should be ok. Depending on the weather, I'll bring along my green guide tarp.
May I ask everyone who've already worked out paddling partners to chime in so we can see how the seating arrangements need to work?
One fortnight from now I think we'll be approaching the beaver dam leading into Tom Thomson.
Another question: Do we want to go in through Canoe lake (2615m/2 portages) or Rain (3875m/10 portages)? Canoe's a much easier trip, but most of us have been that way many times. I think I know the answer, but there's no harm in posing the question.

me and entropy will be in a boat
Jimmay and my +1 (Tom - no forum name yet) will be in another one
I`ll follow you guys wherever you want to go. I do have to pick up my canoe at the Portage Store so I`m not sure how much extra time that would add for us coming in from the east gate and then around to Access Point 4. My vote is for whatever. Also, in the spirit of keeping things light, I vote we wait till the fall for the group meal extravaganza.

If you're getting your canoe from Canoe Lake, then it makes absolutely no sense to pack up and drive another hour and a half. Canoe Lake it is!
Makes sense to me.
