Happy to announce that NS50 is now available. Final weight came out to 0.5 oz/sq yd and the name NS50 just kinda fell out.

Unfortunately I'm traveling today on 2 hours sleep and surviving on coffee at the moment. Will try to get a pic up soon that also shows the compressibility since people were asking about that. It does pack very small. Thanks!

Man that's like cuben fiber light. I'm gonna make a tarp out of it. That'll work, right?

You should really call it "Noseeit50" because it is nearly invisible!

Has anybody made a Fronkey style bugnet with the NS50 yet? I am curious about both the total weight savings as well as how you handled the 62" width (as opposed to the other noseeum mesh that comes in 54" width). An extra 8" on either side seems like it would be too much material.

How is the durability of this compared to the heavier Noseeum nets?

As with any UL fabric/material you do have to take some extra care, but IMO there isn't a steep dropoff in durability with the NS50 for the weight savings. I'm sure folks currently doing builds can chime in as well.
