    Hello to all,

New to hanging, just started collecting my gear, my head is spinning with all the Gear/hammock videos and reviews out there. From hammocks backpacks stoves etc. could use some advise on sleep systems. 40 degrees and above not really interested in winter camping just yet. I have purchased a hennessey jungle asym zip double layer bottom which. American with a reflective pad. Looking for an inexpensive light weight sleeping bag, I think

This forum has tons of answers, I've spent hours reading about all kinds of hammock experiments. If you have specific questions the members are quick to chime in with options. You could always start a thread with your question in the camping hammocks discussion topic. Welcome the Hammock Forums Or since you have a pad you could ask in the Top Insulation sub-group about what a good bag would be for 40+

Welcome to the forums. I highly recommend going to a group hang in your area, even if only for the afternoon. You get to meet hangers and get to see what gear they use. Most people use top quilts instead of sleeping bags.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!

Yeah, try to check out some gear before buying. I bought a sleeping bag right out of the gate and wish I would have just saved a bit more for a top quilt.
