NH, ME, VT > June 5-8 > Kayak/Canoe Camping Trip

Last year a few of us went on an awsome Saco River kayak/canoe trip and we're hoping to do it again this year. We're shooting for the weekend of June 5-8 and thinking Saco River again but it's open to discussion if someone has another location idea. We will paddle/float a few miles each day and setup camp for the night along the river. If anyone needs a kayak or canoe let me know, I have access to cheap rentals on the military base i'm stationed at. I would just need help transporting them since my prius can only hold 1 (maybe 2).

Looks like a blast. I have a couple of long 14' touring kayaks. Any reason anyone thinks it wouldn't work? Looking at the pics, with the exception of the canoe, didn't look like people weren't carrying much gear. Trying to get my wife to join in the hang.

They would be difficult to maneuver in small tight channels. Last time we did a lot of exploring however Mark did it in a large canoe! So you should be good.

That's what I was hoping after seeing the canoe. For all I know he could be a master canoe paddler. Should be worth a try
