I will meet the group for the 10 am Saturday launch. I just updated the spreadsheet accordingly.

Ok no problem. It seems we have more people now wanting to show up saturday morning. That's not a problem but you guys showing up saturday morning may need to work out spotting cars if we don't have enough on friday.

For those showing up friday night please let me know ASAP if you want a site at the campground. They are doing a special right now with reserve 1 site get the other half off. We could 2 sites for a very reasonable price if we reserve them soon. I will be calling today or tomorrow to reserve one so please let me know if you're interested.

Could I use the kayak? I'm still looking for one for the weekend.

I also sent you a PM.

As of right now we only have 3 with a possible 4th on our site. The campground said that we have up to 24 hours before Friday to book a second site for the half price.
Site is $38.99 plus $10 each for 3rd and 4th person if needed. If we get a second site we can all just split the total cost.

===> I am out unfortunately. I have to work a couple of fishing events those two days for the Mass Dept of Fish and Game's Angler Education Program. As a Master Instructor, I am required to be there to manage the Field Instructors and volunteers.

Have a safe trip, take lots of pics and vids! I am bummed. Maybe it gives me more time to rig my Yak for fishing.

Please update the spreadsheet - I can't from this phone. Thanks!

    We'll miss you Chaaz!

Does anyone know the driving time between the put-in and take-out? This information is needed to plan our logistics.

Also, I have three large dry bags available for loan. These are suitable for canoes or sit-on-top kayaks. They are much too large to fit inside a kayak hatch.

Looks like roughly 30 minutes 1 way.

If you google search maple st Hiram maine and look at the satellite view you can see a bridge that goes over the Saco and a little dirt parking spot next to it. That's the takeout point.
I posted gps coordinates of put in in an earlier post.

I know I will have at least 1 vehicle there friday night maybe 2 depending on when/if pretbek or others show up friday. If more people can show up Friday we can place more vehicles and not have to worry about it saturday morning.
