    Floating in the trees.

I am new to the forum and would like to say thank you to everyone for sharing their knowledge. I set up my equip from wal-mart this past Sunday. Decided to go cheap at first to see how I liked it. Well I feel like I have both treble hooks of the lure stuck in my lip. I am hooked. Looking forward to my canoe and kayak trips this year with my new found ability to float in the trees after a day of floating in the water. I must add, these whoopies and splicing techniques are VERY ADDICTIVE. Again thank you and nice to meet everyone.

This place is full of great information. Currently I've just hiked and hung. Can't wait to try hanging on my canoe trip in the Boundary Waters!

I predict you will own at least six hammocks by this time next year.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!

I am certainly going to own more than just this first budget hammock. I've been pricing material to make my own 11' hammock seeing as I'm 6' tall. Before that begins I am going to make myself a tarp.
