    Superfly Suspension

So my superfly tarp just shipped but I was wondering if it comes with suspension or I should get on board with the DutchWare Stingerz Mass Drop. Fellow superfly owners do you have any advice?

It does not come rigged, you will need to configure it yourself.

I set mine up with a ridgeline like Derek outlines here, using stingers and a Dutch hook:
Using a continuous ridge lines with a tarp

I then setup guy lines similar to how Brandon shows in his video.

I don't have a Superfly but they basically rig the same. So many choices these days.....
Added some tarp tutorials for some insight if interested.
    Carry forth.

Thanks for the advice. Im going to grab the stingerz with the 12ft of zing-it for the suspension to the trees. Do you think zing-it would be best for the rest of the guy lines? Or does it not really matter.

Slinylon is stretchy and will go kinda slack when it's wet. Dutch tarpworms are a pretty nifty guy line attachment doodad that come with a loop of shock cord to keep the pitch taut. A tarpworm connected to the tarp by the shock cord and a zing-it line with an eye at the stake end would work great.

Yeah the tarpworms look really useful, headchange4u's method that shug shows looks just a useful also. I'll have to experiment to see what I like best. Also thanks for the heads up with the Silnylon being stretchy I was unaware of that.

I had mine set up 2 weeks ago in over 24 hr steady rain.
was first time using the tarpworms and they worked out great.

I use Dutch stingerz's on bothe ends of the tarp ridge, it works out well for me.
also have Dutch pole mod for side pull outs,

Nice that's what I'm going to end up using for the tarp Ridge, and I'll probably just use the guy line mod with the shock cord.

I'm going a slightly different direction with the rigging once my SF arrives. I love zing-it but it's kind of pricey and I really don't need anything that strong for the tieouts (other than ridge line). If something is going to fail I'd rather it be the cord than the fly. I'm going with "micro cord" from atwood rope. It's quite a bit smaller/lighter (1.18 mm) but is still braided, relatively stiff so it doesn't tangle too bad, and holds knots well. Best of all it was pretty cheap. I'll carry just a bit of extra cord so if one of the kids in the campground or a grumpy bear trips over my lines hopefully they'll just pull out the stakes. if not, the line will snap and I can always just tie it back together and replace the cord later.

I forgot to say that I use Lawson orange Glow wire for the bottom tie out's with my Dutch Tarpworms
