Look what you people have created.

I have not even been on a group hang yet and I am hooked....and it's all your fault. So... I'm at a dog show looking for a place to park the Motorhome....with 3 Dogs and 1 Wife. The wife is pointing out spots to set up and my reply is I need a tree to hang from. Found one & and fence post. Good enough to hang from.
Already looking for an 11 footer. FYI 81 degrees out... beautiful weekend.

Gads... the memories, they still haunt me! I grew up in a family that showed dogs (Lhasa's were ours, and others stayed with us as handlers). At some point we ended up with 56 dogs in the house for a couple weeks (along with 2 big conversion buses which had the neighbors a bit amused in our small neighborhood). I guess that's why I have cats now. I will say that some of the show grounds were a lot of fun as a kid and I met some interesting people. Yeah, that's ending it on a high note. <grin>

You certainly aren't the first to get sucked in. Nor will you be the last.

Great job on picking a really comfy hobby/lifestyle.

At least you didn't pick Bovine Scat Fuel Engineer or Cat Burglar or Underwater Domino Run Builder, etc. as a hobby...

The longer hammock should be much more comfortable and at almost 2 feet longer, easier to span a longer distance at these venues of yours. Also, since you have a home on wheels, you can look into making a TDS(Turtle Dog Stand) and place your hammock anywhere regardless of trees or posts.

    Yes! We are enablers here
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Bigfoot: Started making Whoopie slings the first week. I Did order two from whoopie slings.com anyway... support the Forum members ! Love the vids from Shug and others. Learning allot. Made cosies for my cook pot and cup last week from watching the vids. Built this in my back yard the first week just so I could test all the equipment I keep getting. Loving every minute.

I love how it's on a slope. Great job.

You could even drop it down enough to clear the UQ. Right side is chair height. Left side is you "side table" in perfect reach.
