sorry I don't have a photo of my quilts packed in their sacks.
I have stopped individually packing my quilts and hammock.
I have been using WL Lazy Slug Tube and I will prob. not go any other way.
It's just so easy.
I, too, have the SS quilts--full length UQ. I was testing them in the backyard a couple of weeks ago. The forecast was to be down around 42*. I was wearing light clothing, much lighter than I might normally be wearing out in the field. The temps actually got down to the mid-30s. I was comfortable, but I think that I had just about reached the limit of what the quilts would go. Marty rates them at 45* which is certainly reasonable. Yes, Marty's quality is top-notch. The SS quilts will take many past the summer and into the shoulder seasons.

I bought these a few years back when they first came out. They are my go-to summer set up and work great! They really help getting the pack weight down. I've never tried going below 50* in them, but I am sure that they would be fine. I am a cold sleeper, so I doubt that I'd get them into the thirties without a sock or something else to help.

I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.
