Bridge hammock poles

I recently inquired at QuestOutfitters about their pole end pieces and found out that all of the end caps that are designed to go through grommets have the same diameter sized nipple on the end. Given that, and that the carbon fiber poles end up only being about $5 more than the aluminum, has anyone tried the carbon fiber poles for a bridge hammock?

I would be curious about the updates. I have .625 eason poles with end caps, but I found these CF tubes that have the same inner diameter, and was thinking about eventually replacing them, since the price is really not too crazy.

My biggest fear with CF poles is that CF tends to fail catastrophically, unlike aluminum which just bends. A little unnerved about the idea of carbon fiber shattering near where my head is.

I inquired directly with a company that makes them for Ridgerunner customers. The guy told me that people who weigh over 200 lbs could experience pole failure.
