Awesome spot! Beck's and I hope to camp at Martha's Pretty Point Sat-Sun and maybe longer. She took the week off to go play and I planned to take the Vertex. What she doesn't know is they are trying to get the Z-liners here before Sat.
Yessir! It's close to me and provides all the climbing and such that I can squeeze in a couple days.

fun stuff! I've been working on finishing all of the trails in Scott's Gulf. that's a great swimming hole at that campsite.
I was solo camping at the falls back in 2009 and got to see that drainage at flood stage --had a fun time getting out of that canyon that day!
Ashe- yeah I've been walking around that place for a while. It was incredible when it was covered in a foot of snow. I typically solo there a lot due to the limited space and it's always a race to catch a good site this time of year. I prefer the Cohuttas, where I'm from, but now where I live Virgin is closer.

have you ever seen the spider lilies that grow at the Caney campsite? they're about waist high and sprout these big, elaborate blooms the size of your head. that place is a wildflower goldmine in mid-May.
No ma'am/sir I havent. I tend to avoid that place in May due to the overwhelming amount of people. But as a photographer it has a vast array of bug species
