So after setting up my wbbb with my quilts a weekend or so ago.. I talked the wife into trying it out...
Well she liked it.... Wayyyyy better than her experience in my 2 man tent with sleeping pads...
So what to do what to do? Order a new hammock setup of course!
I had a Walmart hammock and an eno bug net from my first hammock setup... But it needed a suspension and I really only like the Walmart rig for lounging.
I wanted a basic hammock for a while... So off I went.
I got a nylon 1.6 in awesome orange. 11footer as well as a fronky 11ft bug net... I grabbed a cinch buckle setup as well. And for fun some orange amsteel to make a ridge line..
Well it took me 2 hours to do a fixed buried ridge line... I had initially intended to do an adjustable one. But didn't measure long enough to make it adjustable... So its a fixed bury on each end. This was my first splicing attempt and would have taken less time if I wasn't using braided picture wire for a threading tool
Lesson learned!.
Now I want to try making some whoopies with hooks mmmmmmmmmmm.
So here it is....

I love the fabric it has a nice weave. And full color. Much more comfortable than standard eno/Walmart nylon.
Also pictured is a newly acquired used jarbridge. I am in process of converting an Ozark bag to a top quilt.

And the best part is it weighs in at 1lb 12.75 oz with the net and in the stuff sack.

Mmmmmmm lighter than my bb.
All in all I'm very. Happy with it.. And the wife likes it too!!
