Could this be adapted to an UQ?

    http://www.gorumpl.com/collections/puffy-rumpls/throw

Saw this recently and wonder if any experts could chime in on options to convert this to an UQ

    Would it be worth it?

says not Down, but synthetic. My guess is it's similar or the same as either Primaloft or Climashield insulation...and looking at their prices...for that much, and what appears to be only 2-3" of loft...you might be better off getting a KAQ or similar UQ...

Without knowing the insulation or temp rating, I'd not trust it below 50*.

But for around the same price, you could have one of these:

It would not need to do any modification and you'd now pretty much exactly how it performs.

I agree with the others. A KAQ Jarbidge is very comparable in price, comes ready to hang, is proven, and provides a temperature rating. I saw the rumpl on Mass Drop, and was not too happy to see their insulation advertised as synthetic down- I think it can be a little misleading.

If I understand correctly "synthetic down" is marketing term used to differentiate between this material abd the usual batted synthetic insulation. It is synthetic but has the form and appearance of down.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Primaloft calls itself synthetic down, but if they paid for Primaloft they would say it, seems like.

I'll back the KAQ Jarbidge any day. I have one that I use as a loaner. I had a New River a year ago that I took well below it's listed rating. For the price you can't go wrong. Check the for sale threads, every once in awhile a Jarbidge is listed at a really great price.

Where do you see that? All I can find on their website is "down alternative," a couple references to "down-like" and "synthetic insulation." Thanks
