Coming from you Shug I'm humbled. I've gone over your videos so many times, studying every aspect of your setup. In absence of a Hammock Pass-Around system I have Shug, and his hotcocoa. Thank you again for the kind comment.

Gargoyle, the water bottle is a Nalgene stainless steel one. It was originally made by Guyot Designs but purchase by Nalgene earlier this year. They work great. You can even remove the lid and cook in them or melt snow if needed.

You can get them many places, but this is a good deal here: http://www.twowolvesoutdoor.com/water.htm

Also if your machine is cranky- a cleaning/adjustment visit is almost always cheaper than a new machine. if it cannot be fixed, your mechanic might be able to put you together with a good deal on a pre-owned unclaimed machine. HTH, KM

Very nice work! First thing for that machine, get a manual. They're available for most models online. Next, clean and lube machine according to the manual's instructions. Small investment of time and money. Once it's clean and lubed, if it still malfs take it to a shop, unless you're pretty handy. If you've ever adjusted the timing on an engine, you will find that a sewing machine is laughably forgiving on the tolerances allowed.
