They tied off to a rotten tree. Luckily they appear to be ok.

Shared the link from my phone. The video link is calling it funny. I don't find it funny, it scares me that those two could have been seriously hurt.

I'm with you on this one. I would hate to see that happen to my daughter. Glad those two were alright!

Yes I am glad they are ok, that is what counts.
    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

That could have been a one and done deal. Nothing funny about having a tree land on you or your buddy.

Falling trees and limbs can happen anywhere. In North Georgia about 3 years ago a limb fell from a tree at a daycare and injured a 2 year old little boy who is still trying to get the use of his arms and legs. No matter where you are or what activity you are involved in please look up and do not take your life for granted.

But still, you can minimize incidents in life by avoiding the obvious things...like tying to a dead tree.

Dang, it looked like it landed right on the one girls shoulder. Poor kid. So glad it didn't hit either one of them in the head!
Like thrash metal? Check out my nephew's band, Deathwatch. He's an amazing drummer... https://soundcloud.com/user-660860695
