One Tarp, two Hammocks - need some suggestions

As the title states, im looking for one tarp that will cover 2 Hammocks. Not worried too much about weight, but I definitely want quality. Needs to be solid if it rains, or if there is wind. Doors aren't necessary but im not opposed to them.

This will be for 2 10' Hammocks, mainly used in the Spring/Summer/Fall months.

Any info/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I love my SF. But there are a lot of options out there

I use a Warbonnet Superfly over two hammocks, and it works great, but I've only used it in conjunction with Dutch's Double Hammock Whoopie Hooks, allowing both hammocks to hang side-by-side from one set of trees with just enough separation: http://www.dutchwaregear.com/double-hammock-whoopie-hooks-pair.html . I've never had it out in serious rain with two hammocks--I imagine coverage will be good in most situations, but you can't close the doors as well over two suspensions.

Thanks guys this is all good info. I just caught the Superfly thread below this one after I posted. I might end up going with that one for this situation. Its really for me and my son, I dont think he really wants to sleep in a Hammock on his own for the first night out. We have only slept in tents when camping but I think its time to move on to a better nights sleep in the woods for the whole family.

For the double hook, do you need the spreader bar? I was going to run the pole mod so we have a little more room under the tarp, I figure the doors are nice option to have, but if its decent weather we wont need to close them.

Definitely go with the pole mod on the tarp. It makes a huge difference. And yes you'd have to get a spreader bar for the head end at least

Here is my DIY Silnylon tarp. Not sure if you want to go the DIY route but I hung with my 13 yr old this past weekend under it by putting 2 straps on the same tree, just offset to the sides of the tree. He moves around allot while sleeping so I didn't want to go with a system that would move my hammock when he tosses and turns. It worked out well. He was hanging a little lower than I was which also helped.

You could also hang bunk bed style.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!
