DIY Cinch Top Sacpack

Last week I made a post about a DIY hammock and a bag to carry it in that I made for my cousin. Here is the post with pics if ya'll are curious. https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...-Blue-by-RSBTR. A few asked about the specifics so I decided to make another one and a video to go along with it. It's a super easy project that I hope others may find useful. Constructive criticism is also welcome, just don't blame my crooked stitch lines on the beer.

Nice tutorial. I really like how you did the zipper pocket. I do a similar bag out of 70D Digital Camo. I've wanted to do a zipper in one but have just not had the time to work it out in my head to get to my hands and the thread injector. Way simpler than I imagined.

I get the use of the amsteel for the the straps but if you put a little too much in the bag they will cut into your shoulders. I use inexpensive climbing rope and use a grommet system on the outside of the bag.

Thanks for the vid. May need to do one of my own with the zipper this time.

Glad you enjoyed it. Your's looks pretty cool as well. I was thinking of doing grommets but didn't want to buy something I was only going to use once. Another way to do the zipper pocket would be similar to the bag and flip it inside out to do the seams, which is what I did the 1st time. I did it different this time because I liked how the grossgrain covered up the ends of the zipper. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
