Georgia Hangers

I've been looking for a group hang in Georgia. Does anyone have any plans for one? Or does anyone know of a Georgia hangers facebook group? I've noticed several other new Georgia hangers lately on HF too

Me too. I just joined the forum yesterday and this was one of the first things I searched for. I've had a Hennessy Hammock for years but haven't used it much but have the itch to give hammocks another try. I would love to see other manufacturers' (or home made) hammocks and a variety of suspension setups as well as under quilts. A group hang in the Atlanta or N. GA area would be very nice.

If you post it they will come! We've gotten a lot of new Georgia folks here on the forums and group hangs are always fun and a great way to see a variety of gear and hanging styles. Let's try to set something up for May.There are several of us Ga and SC folks that get together every few months for group hangs. They are usually held at Raven Cliffs Falls for drive in camping with a short walk or at East Fork on the Chattooga River for hike in camping. We've camped other places and are always looking for great new spots to hang. We would have had one this month but a few of us are going to the Sipsey/Bankhead hang in Ala next week.

I would be good with a May hang if it was the 1st or 2nd weekend in May. Anyone else want to chime in on a date and get the ball rolling?
