    Supporting the cottage vendors

I have really enjoyed this forum and the support everyone gives the cottage vendors. I have also decided thats the route I want to take. However, I am taking chances on the brand new upstarts. One, because they are less expensive...two, everyone has to start somewhere...three, wth!

I got my down uq from keepcalmandhikeon.com and I am about to place an order for a silpoly tarp, with doors from https://www.facebook.com/mountainwilderness365?fref=nf. I have used my tq twice and love it. The price for it was much less than others and the price for the tarp, with doors, is only $85.

Sometimes you gotta take a chance on people. If they become rich and famous, then I can say "I was there in the beginning." If it all falls apart..., well...we wont talk about that just yet.

Well I was inspired by this post to give a chance to the little guy. I have ordered a tarp from Mountain Wilderness as listed above on the Facebook link. He seemed to have a good grasp of tarp concepts and I was looking forward to trying a silpoly tarp on for size. Everyone cross your fingers for me and hope that everything works out and we have a new cottage vendor worthy of our admiration for great service and quality products!

I should get my tarp (with doors and tie outs) tomorrow. I also had him make me a set of whoopies. I'll let you know how it is. He sent me updates as it progress, with pictures. He got a little behind because of some lame excuse...camping with his family or something like that...lol. The cost was less than my hennessy hex that I currently use. What color did you get?

I went with the Khaki. We also did the the tarp with doors and added panel pulls. I am expecting the tarp early this week. The pics during construction of the tarp were really fun plus it gave you a little insight in the quality and things were looking great. Post some pics of yours when you get it up. I will do the same when I can. Thanks again for the post. I have enjoyed working with him and am looking into doing a quilt with him next.

Did either of you guys get your tarps from him? I saw your post and went to order from him but PayPal is having issues. Seems like he's on his game as far as I can tell. Fair prices, too.

I am expecting my tarp tomorrow or monday. i haven't heard from Dhagan. The prices are nice and his communication throughout the build has been second too none, i have received emails with pics almost daily during the build. Awesome experience!

I'm working with him as well. He really seems to enjoy the work and offers a fair price for what seems like a quality product. I wish he would set up a user friendly website.
