Was wondering if anyone knows of a very thin water proof rope and where to get it? I'm tired of my guy lines getting wet and holding water. Doesn't feel right wrapping up a tarp that's shedded water all night with some wet rope.

Zing-it or Lash-it; 1.75 mm.

I use a thin non waterproof rope. Once I return from a hang where it rained. I hang my tarp outside to dry. I never thought to check that the rope is dry also.
Straight out of Clayton.
Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.
I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.
Either something like zing it/some kind of dyneema or spectra will work or polyester. The zing it types don't hold water and polyester isn't supposed to but I feel like it does more than dyneema. I like Lawson equipment glowire for guylines.
I've been using Planer Board line that I got at Bass Pro. It's polyester and it does seem to hold a little water, but not enough to worry about. Zing It would be the obvious answer to your quandry.

I use planer board line as well. Made of Dacron.
Yeah, it will work great, but won't work properly with dutchware.
