Down group buy?

Is my memory failing me? I thought I recalled a recent thread where folks were discussing doing another group buy of Speer down, but now I can't find it. So what's the deal? Is this happening??

Yes, but Ed asked that we wait until October to get started with it. Apparently he had a very busy September.

Yeah, spoke with Ed this past weekend in Hot Springs. He said that September has been one of the busiest months they've had at Speer and they're doing all they can to keep up with the orders. I'd say it's nice for Ed to have free time, but it's nice to do some business and make money as well.

Man, I wish I could have made Hot Springs... my fiance had foot surgery a week before the hang and she's been recovering while I play nurse. I hope ya'll had a blast.

It makes me happy to hear that any of our special cottage-industry gear vendors are doing well. I have huge respect for their stick-to-it-iveness and entrepreneurial spirit. While I (like most of us) want instant gratification, I'm more than willing to be patient for the order queues to be turned into production. When our favorite vendors are doing well, it's a good argument for our favorite avocation to do well!!

I love it! Looks like one of the best "problems" a cottage industry can have. Keep up the great work Ed!
