Night ize cam jam for tarp?

Was cruising the local Goodwill today and found a pack of brand new, Night-Ize Cam-Jams, still in the packaging, for $2.
Of course I snagged them right up :-)
Wondering if anyone has before, or does currently use these for suspending their tarp?
Don't seem like they would hold much weight but look as though they'd be fine for a tarp ridgeline...
    Thoughts?

They are all I ever use, never failed yet.
Since I retired, some times I stay awake all day, some times all night.

Been using them on my Vertex tarp for the last 6 months (nylon-plastic or similar material for the cam-jams). They are very small, very light, and have yet to do anything but work perfectly. Even kept under tension on a really windy night that dislodged a pair of pegs these things were fine.

    $2 is a fantastic deal!

My dad and I have been using them for a year or so. Very quick to set up and light weight.
