    NylonD Hammock

I think i will be purchasing a Nylon D 11 inch hammock and whoopies- $76. I weigh just under 150lbs and will only be sleeping with it myself but want the option to hang out with a girl in my hammock. Is is possible/ comfortable at all, or would I need a double hammock of another brand?

Also is the only benefit of the double layer to put a pad in between? Would I need anything besides the whoopies or should i get the cinch buckle suspension instead?

Two people in a hammock for any significant amount of time is never comfortable regardless of which hammock you have.

It's not comfortable, the brand doesn't matter.

A double layer is stronger and will hold more weight. If it's not sewn shut, a pad can be slipped in between the layers.

Suspensions are personal. Each has their benefits and disadvantages. You have to figure out what works for you and your setup. It's fun finding out though

What they ^^^^^ said... additionally, I think an 11 inch hammock will be too small. They sell 11 footers maybe give one of those a whirl.

I'm assuming you mean the 1.6 version. Probably OK to hangout in if she's under 120 lbs. Wouldn't even try sleeping two to any hammock outside a little snooze. Worth it to carry two hammocks.

I think the problem you'll find with that hammock is that it is too narrow for two people. I hang with my gf all the time on a Yukon double. You'll want a hammock with more width than 58in.
Any longer than a hour together and it gets really uncomfortable.
    I'd rather be hanging.

When I read the original post, I immediately thought of This is Spinal Tap and their Stonehenge stage set.
