Anyone else got any hikes planned this weekend? I've got a shuttle arranged on Sunday morning to take me and Doc to Unicoi Gap in GA. We're taking an overnighter, hiking north to ****'s Creek Gap. Pictures and trip report forthcoming.

i'm hopin i can take my first trip with my WBBB this weekend up to upper goose Pond on the at in southern Mass... Maiden voyage, not really ready, just winging it and hoping for some good sleep
Wish I could make it too. Long ways away. Have a good time, devil dog.
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.
yep! planning on starting a series of section hikes from my house north to/thru the smokies on the BMT, getting ready for MARCH!!!!
Not hiking but camping with my senior scout group at our regional camps 50th birthday party camp. Our group will have 10 hangers and no ground dwellers. I know of at least one other group that will be hanging. Unsure of their numbers.
I wish I was going hiking.
Those of you that are, have fun!
Trust nobody!
Hoping I luck out. Was going to get stuck on a boat, but looking like I will have the weekend free. Thinking a canoe trip.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
The hanger formly known as "hammock engineer".
My 14 yr old son and I will be just south of you. Doing Neels Gap to Springer Mtn. First trip with my new WBBB and, since its going to rain, I will also get to try out my new Superfly. For my son, this is the completion of his Georgia AT leg. He did about 54 miles in August. Hiking in to the NC state line on Chunky Gal Trail where he picked up the AT and then south to Neels Gap.
You got some pretty good up and downs just north of Unicoi!
