    That's nuts! I started going through the specs just for the heck of it and after seeing the tarp weight, I got as far away as fast as possible.

    I own an Exped Ergo Combi - great hammock, and excellent tarp as well.
    BTW, that tarp weight of 19 oz includes ridgeline,guylines and tensioners. It's not that heavy for a well-made tarp of that size, IMO.
    Hammock weight includes carabiners, ridgeline, full zippered bugnet, and zippered double bottom to take your (essential) sleeping pad.
