Here I am, enjoying my first lay in my new (pre-owned by Mad Goat) RidgeRunner. I'm planning on getting an over night in it tomorrow.

First hang was moderately successful.
I sub-consciously set the hammock up with the foot end slightly higher. I also had the underquilt looser than it should've been, and had some minor cold butt. After reading about different user's feedback about the 4" section, I tried my first night without it. I woke up feeling a bit of squeeze in my shoulders, so next time, I'll include the 4" section. I'll also hang the hammock level, and I'll be sure he UQ is properly fitted to avoid the gaps.
Uphill you may still want the foot end a little higher...I slide one way or the other if I don't have it just so. But probably not as much higher as you would have a GE. Just a couple inches.

Ok just got this a week ago and loving it. On my Tato stand with 5' legs 13' ridge pole. I shortened triangles to 32". Hung at 25* with foot end 3" higher and sporting cinch bugs. Loaded with my 40* Phoenix while waiting on my multicam ambush.
Here is my ridgerunner on a recent trip, first time using the sock
My second night was more of a success. The main improvement was the use of the 4" extended section in the head end. I also had the UQ snugged up, with me gaps. And the foot end wasn't as noticeably high as it was the first night.
I also took out the stock rings and extra Amstel and installed a couple of soft shackles with ti-cinch buckles larks headed into them.
A little backyard hanging
