Wooooooooo...budddddyyyyy! I've been waiting for another Shug trip report. It is quite a good primer for the pop-tart trip I'm about to take here in a couple weeks. Can't wait to get out into those piney woods! Great video as always, Shug. All secure, and carry forth

You set a pretty hefty pace! No time to take the Long Johns off... Must have been some fine and dandy coffee. lol The river looked great! Good to see you having breakfast from the hammock. No one does that like you do. I bet Eric didn't sleep too good in that tent. Great high speed trip, sad to see it come to an end! Thanks for the trip report Mr Shug!

We were totally walking at what I call "Ramble 2" on that hike. Kinda sore after in the glutes. Eric said he slept well...from heavy pack exhaustion.

Sage advice regarding the purchase of a gift for your significant "other". Could plan ahead and have it in your vehicle so that you do not need to "go shopping" at the last minute. Tells them that they were in your thoughts while you were absent from their lives.

I never have it that together to pre-set the schmooze gift. Like doing it after to not rush the trip home.

Really enjoyed the views from up on the rock wall and soaking up the power of water moving down a river. Invigorating!

I had skim milk apres hike. Strawberry I save for the South Land.

I am likely doing a 4th-8th of July Hustler trip. 3 Hammockers from the twin cities area!

I think most of the woods along the SHT look to hold great hammocking spots, and the small but powerful rivers add a great deal of value to a hike there. Would love to get up there someday! Glad to see you garnered a few more scalps into the hanging world. Seems they did great!
