Second Overnight Hang On The River/Suspension Question

Well after hanging for the first time last October and getting though what has seemed like a never ending Winter two buddies and I finally got in our first kayak fishing overnight of the year. This was only my second overnight hang and at this point I feel like I could not be more pleased with the simplicity of hammock camping, but know that I can. The temps at night got down to 40 degrees and I thought I might get a little cold but woke up in a sweat and had to shed clothing. This was my setup:

    Kammock Roo w/ Python Straps
    Kelty Noah 12' Tarp
Nite Ize CamJams for tarp guy line cinching
Ozark sleeping pad with generic mummy bag and fleece liner

I am wanting to upgrade my suspension to reduce weight and size and this is what I have in mind:

    2 8' Dutchware tree straps
    2 Dutch buckles
2 6' Dutch amsteel whoopie slings

Would this suspension configuration be optimal or is there something even better or something that I have left out? Should I go shorter with the tree straps or whoopie slings? Is there a better option than the Dutch buckle? I'd appreciate any suggestions; thanks for the input!

Depending on the tree size in your area you might be able to get away with 4-6 foot straps, and no reason to go with 8 foot whoopies. 6 foot whoopies should be plenty

I guess I misread on the slings. The ones I want are 6' with an 8" lead. I think you are right about the length though. My python straps are 10' each so this would be comparable.
