    Frontenac Provincial Park Ontario

Four of us headed out for a three day trip this past weekend. All in all was a great trip covering about 28km ( 17miles). This park has only backwoods camping which is nice. We did a five hour hike in on the Friday and a 2.5 hour hike Saturday to a different spot , then a two hour hike out Sunday. I don't have many pics but here is what I have. Maybe the other guys will post some.

Some sections are challenging we found. Lots of elevation changes. Trails are muddy right now which is to be expected. We did the big salmon loop plus a couple other small sections. It's a beautiful park with some outstanding views.

They are just starting to come out but nothing biting. I think another week or two and the black flies will be out in full force.

Nice pics. We were in there on Friday night up on Kingsford lake. It was just a quick overnight and we walked out Saturday morning. I've been there the last two years on the first weekend in may and the black flies were fierce. With the weather forecast for the rest of this week I'm sure it will be no different this year. Do you live in the area? I go up there quite often.
A lotta ins... lotta outs... lotta what-have-you's
