I dunno about the freeze-dried food - might bring a steak for myself. As far as I recall, Atsion Ranger station opens April 1, but I'll try to call tomorrow to confirm.

Yeah, the Atsion Office (how dare you call it a ranger station? ) is open April 1 - October 31.
