    Question: which webbing buckles?

I have a WB XLC with webbing suspension and love everything about the hammock EXCEPT the stock webbing buckles, which are a PITA to adjust, both tightening and loosening.

A pair of ring buckles don't seem a better option. Dutch's Cinch Buckles look like they might be easier; Dream Hammock's Strap Buckle looks like it could go either way. I imagine there are others worth checking out as well.

Any of you seasoned veterans or inveterate fiddlers have strong feelings one way or the other?

    Thanks!

Hard to go wrong with cinch buckles! Every Scout in my Troop has them, as well as my daughter and wife, and no complaints yet.

I have a set of the Cinch Bugs and have used several sets of the Warbonnet Adjustable webbing. Much prefer the Cinch Bugs though adjusting the WB is not a big deal once you get used to it.

The Warbonnet buckles are fine, once you use them a few times, but I do prefer the cinch buckles from Dutch.

Haven't tried the cinch bugs yet, they look really cool though.

I had the warbonnet and there buckles and found the same issue. I switched out to the dutch regular cinch buckle and the warbonnet straps.

I have been using the ones from onrope for years. Same straps too. I thought it was just a trial suspension, but I never found the need to try anything else. It works for me, so I stopped experimenting.

Same here - after aboyd showed me his Dutch cinch buckles at a group hang.

Same here. It's just too easy.

Of course, you need to relieve a little tension, especially to loosen it while hung.

I was looking for easily removable suspension to store separate from the hammock (lots of pine sap locally). Pretty much the same concept as the buckles and very secure as well.
