    New DIY Climashield underquilt

So this is my second CS under quilt. I had made one for my wife a while back and had a friend who wanted one as well.

Materials are 1.1 oz. calendered rip stop in Khaki and Olive Brown and 5.0 APEX Climashield from Ripstop By The Roll. This quilt did seem easier after having made the one for my wife. I added gross grain plus mitten hooks in all corners and small prussic loops on the shock cord suspension to help with the adjustment. I think it turned out pretty good. I still have to sew the stuff sack but other than that I am through!

Thanks munckmd! I would expect 30-35 degrees. Some would say even lower but I am conservative. The 6.0 climashield is rated to 25 degrees.

Thanks V_Allen! I am really happy with it. I told my friend this would be the last quilt I would make but after reflecting for a couple of hours...I still have some Climashield and I need a top quilt so maybe just one more...

Well that would be the biggest compliment I have ever received! Thanks Dutch! I just had someone ask me to make another one so I will be soon shooting you an order for some of your extraordinarily priced climashield.
