    Snake skin for NX-250?

Hello, I got my NX 250 awhile ago, after trying it out a few times, I came to the conclusion that it's not very fun to pack it up.
Can someone show me which is the best "snake skin" or similar product for the NX-2250? I like the simplicity of just pulling it over and pack it away rather than folding and stuffing.

    Thank You

I didn't use a snake skin when I had a Clark but DD Hammocks sells snake skins in a couple of sizes that may fit. Their hammock snake skin fits their hammock perfectly so it may be a little small for the Clark but their Tarp snake skin is larger and might fit.

Dutch sells snake skin kits, seems you could buy a couple kits and sew them together in a modified fashion to fit pretty much any set up. Simple sewing project that requires very little expense if you don't like the results.

It comes with a built in stuff sac, no folding is required, just stuff and velcro closed. It works perfectly!!

Thanks for the reply fellas, I understand it comes with a stuff sack. I was watching the Hennessy Super shelter video on youtube, it was quite impressive in function.
But I really liked the fact that you can just pull the snake skin and the entire hammock is packed up ready to go.

Hmm, I use skins for the Vertex tarp I got with my NX-250. It's nice to consolidate and lash the tarp underneath or on top of the lid of my pack like a climbing rope for quick access and to pack a wet tarp away from the hammock and the rest of my kit. The Clark is a lot more hammock than the Hennesesy. Would a Clark in skins be too large to lash outside a pack, or take up too much space inside a pack unless it was subsequently put into a separate stuff sack? Would that be more difficult and less convenient than using the integrated stuff sack?

I just recently got the Lazy Slug Tubes for my clark nx-250 and so far like it a lot. Quilts, hammock and pillow all in one fast deployment setup. I really like that it means I don't have to fuss with my underquilt once I setup, and the whole tube smushes down into the bottom of my pack nicely.

Tarp was in mesh snakeskins, which worked, but then I got a one piece cuben skin, goes from one end to the other in a single pull, works beautifully!

I've done the built in stuff and pocket too, generally didn't use the built in stuff sack as using the pocket only left it a bit looser and more malleable in the backpack to fit around other gear.

Guyturf, What size Lazy Slug Tubes did you get for your NX-250? I've thought about getting some, but don't want to chance getting them too small or too large? Thanks for any input.

I got the large lazy slugs... still loving the fast deployment and protection for my hammock while setting up and tearing down. quilts, pillow, flashlight and more all just fit and pack away easy.
