    Guess they don't last forever.

I heard a pop and then somebody started to undo a big zipper. I opened my eyes to see the ceiling retreating from me and then I was down and the zipper stopped.

Looks like for whatever reason the Amsteel cut through the edge of the Tablecloth and then just started ripping. Punctuated by the folding method of my gather, I gather. Although I swap frequently this one had about a year on it.

Took the pic, pulled out my new purple one, slipped the suspension on and went back to sleep. Didn't hurt, didn't hit so much as just stopped lowering. I was up long enough to buy a model airplane off a site. Didn't cost as much as I thought it would because it was on Mayday sale and because several weeks back Grand Trunk hammocks were on sale on Woot and I ordered 50 bucks of half priced hammocks and tarps. That deal got canceled for whatever reason and the money went back to my paypal account. Shoot. I also had forethought enough to change my shipping address to my new house we start moving into on Wednesday. We did the walk through today WHICH also turned out to be my daughters 25th birthday.

    It was an interesting day.

Seen a couple of other table cloth hammocks come to their end recently. Served you well anyways.

A good reminder to check your gear frequently. It's hard to tell from the picture but based on your text and signature I take it this was done using Derek's zip-tie whipping method?

W folded and then whipped with Pink boat cord from walmart. As for checking, I had recently moved the suspension away from the knot a bit as the hammock was getting a little saggy. The new one I put in it's place feels so much tigheter even though originally they were the same length. Just finally wore out.
