Thanks for all the input guys. Sounds like something I just need to work out as I continue to try it. I'm hopeful that it won't be as bad as the temps increase a bit. I have an underquilt but need to order a nice top quilt to heat things up anyways.

I think BillyBob has it right on, and here's a short summary of the medical side of it, called cold diuresis, which in essence means that you're a bit on the chilled side and your body is making up for it by constricting the blood vessels near your skin. Look to your insulation, and make sure that your really warm, especially underneath.
That totally makes sense. If I wasn't with my gf for that last trip I would have had the UQ to my advantage but she was cold so I had to give it up of course. I'm interested to see how it changes.
Glad it wasn't just me. Went on my first hang and visited the tree 3 times. I never have to go when sleeping in bed at home. I was using a pad in 48 degrees and was cold most of the night though. Good to know that the issue can be resolved.
