I have seen a few recent discussions about ropes for hammock camping. I decided to write up a short post about the various types of rope that we stock and their uses as they apply to hammocks. Be it for your hammock suspension, tarp lines, bear bag or just general utility cords around camp.

When I saw the title of this thread, I read it as "The Dope on a Rope" and I thought it would be about leaving your keys in a back pocket or putting it on the toggle or maybe Dutch's super ultralight hammockless hammock.
