    Jumped in with both feet.

Order #1946 has been placed for a Thunderbird. I've been using a HH Expedition that had been massaged by Zipper Queen so I wasn't really roughing it but I want to get a couple of friends to try hanging. Now they'll have a descent first experience.

I also ordered a UDQ Winter Dream tarp to go with the Thunderbird. Combine that with my KAQ underquilt and a top quilt I'll purchase late summer and be locked and loaded.

    WooHoo!! Can't wait.

Well I ordered my Thunderbird about an 2 hours ago and I am already a victim of the Smurfmiester's infamous customer service. 8^) Just got a $30 dollar refund email from PayPal because I tried to add an option that I didn't need. Thanks Blue Man!!!!

I purchased my first "New" Thunderbird a couple of days ago. I have a Thunderbird that I bought from a fellow PSH member that was only used a few times. I have thoroughly enjoyed my current Thunderbird, but I am ready to get my new Thunderbird. I am now going to have to save up money so that I can by an underquilt and top quilt. 8 weeks will go by quick. I hope.

Yeah, if you did not allready have a Thunderbird the wait would be alot harder,, when i ordered mine last year the wait time was 5=6 weeks and they were the longest weeks of my life!!.
Good luck on the quilts and congrats on the new Tbird.

What KAQ do you have? I am wondering what other hammocks my Potomac will fit.

I have the Jarbidge River 3 season. I bought it when they offered a free extra fill up grade. Not sure if it made it to a full 4seasons since I didn't get it out last winter.

    Colonel Panic,
Here's a quick peek at a ThunderBird in the AOR2 fabric.
