    Insulation help needed please

I'm new to hammocks and looking for help deciding what insulation to get. Weight is very important to me but at the same time I want to sleep warm when it's cold outside...down to 15*...I hike mostly in cooler weather but will use this insulation for the Colorado Trail in August. I'm using DIY gathered end hammocks. I've looked at vendor web sites and am leaning toward Hammock Gear if the lead time is not too great. I'm 6'1", 180 lb, pretty broad up top, as to cold/warm sleeping probably average but maybe leaning to the cold side. Should I go with full length UG or partial? How do you guys keep your heads warm in the teens? Thanks for any advice given.

I like a partial UQ until I get into sub 0º temps. A multi-use sit-pad for under my feet. I find the partial UQ is easier to adjust for me and takes less space in my pack and costs less. Then when I crawl in to slumber I put my parka or vest around the footbox of my hammock.
For my head I wear down beanies and a down hood.

I would second everything Shug says, except I go full length below 20f. My partial should be go to 10f, but I figure why chance it.
