I'm looking for a image/video tutorial on making a split ridgeline with zing-it. I've got a length of zing-it, and a couple Dutch wasps on their way. Anyone have any favorite resources for this type project?

Not a whole lot to it, just determine the length you want (I would do 12' leads). Splice a small locked brummel loop in one end, place your wasp on the line and finish the other end with a back splice. Just larks head the looped end onto your ridgeline D ring and you're good to go.
If you like a video, check this out, just forget about putting the hook inside the loop of the locked brummel, skip the continuous loop completely, and do the back splice. Make sure you have the wasp facing the correct direction before making the back splice. You can do the back splice later after you verify that all is good.

What are you using as your splicing tool in the video Doogie? I'm planning on swinging by the music shop to pick up some guitar string, but there's also an ace hardware near by as well that I could go to.
I'm not Doogie lol but I use some .032 safety wire doubled and it works great for zing-it/lash-it.

I can pick that up at ace hardware?

I took one of the wires out of an old keyboard USB cable and folded it in half. works great for zing it and everyone has some sort of cable laying around that you're not using that can be sacrificed for a good cause.
Well that went pretty easily. Thanks to Doogie's video, and Bryce88's suggestion of repurposing some wire from an unused cable. I knocked out the split ridgeline pretty seamlessly. One thing I should've thought of was making the locked brummels a bit larger so I could larks head the line onto the tarp easier. I followed Doogie's specs, and then realized the loop was almost too small to larks head.
I think I'll be doing some more DIY cordage along the way.
