I just ordered one too! Looks nice. I was preparing an order of premade Dutch parts to assemble a new hammock and when I refreshed the page, this popped up. I liked what I saw and swapped it into my cart and moved the other hammock I had chosen out. The Knotty Mod stuff sold me.

I guess if the half-net is inadequate, I could use a Fronkey net and roll back the half-net.

Looks great!! Is the bug net sewn to the hem, all the way down, on both sides? Is there a strip of grosgrain on the front / lap edge, to hold it down?

The bugnet is sew in the hem. However the grossgrain reinforces the corner and doesn't travel the entier hem. I found that hindered the sealing more than it helped.

Aw man I just bought an 11ft polyD a few weeks ago. Oh well maybe I'll grab one towards the end of summer, as long as Dutch doesn't change things around again.

He will. End of summer is what, 4 months away? He'll release probably 22 new products by then. And you'll want to buy them all. Twice.

Lots of hammock manufacturers have hammocks with full integrated bugnets available. I believe Dutch is trying to avoid doing what others already do.

Interesting idea...my luck, my foot would slip out from under the blanket in the night and I'd be all bit up by morning. Do they come in 11'? (j/k!)
