You can buy textured paint from hardware store and just paint the back of the keyboard with it. Not sure if it comes in spray cans. Maybe they will sell you a sample amount.

    Thinking outside the sticky box.

I run a string over the hammock ridge line to hold the weight up. Then I rest it on my knees-upper legs to type. Easy to slide out of the way when not in use.

How about grip tape meant to add traction/tread to ramps and stairs? For example, Lowe's sells a pack of pieces of "SKID GUARD 6-in x 24-in Black with Yellow Reflective Stripe Safety Tape" for like five bucks. I have used it to put "sandy" patches on the plywood ramp for a toolshed. (Or for that matter, actual grip tape for skateboards?)

But you probably want something gentler -- with a more rubbery and less gritty texture. Hmmm… What about those flower-shaped stickers that go on the floor of your tub/shower to avoid falling? Search for "tub grip stickers" and there will be choices.

www.bluelounge.com makes a product called "kicks" that works perfectly, and is removable.

The only other grippy, sticky thing that I can think of is to bring a 3-year old after ice cream sandwiches.

Another thought is rubber shelf liner. Our dollar tree has it right next to contact paper. Good luck

A lot of folks around here use Permatex flowable windshield silicone sealant (diluted, of course). I've found that when sealing some tarp seams recently that, even in diluted form, it dries to a fairly tacky state.

How about those groovy no-slip flowers people put in their bath tubs?

    1) Take two strips of double sided velcro and wrap each strap around your legs at the appropriate height where you want the device.
    2) Take some single sided velcro (the kind with adhesive already on it) and mount that on to the back of the device.
    3) Get in hammock, assume your favorite position
    4) Place device on to velcro straps around legs
    5) ?????
    6) Profit.

What about the rubber grip tape that's used on tennis racquets & baseball bats?
