All i know about the wbbb is that lots of folks love it! I got the hennessey before wbbb were popular. Being old ,fat, short, with back issues it has always been easy for me to get in and out of my bottom entry hennessey expedition deluxe. I love it. Would like the side zip modification, which is an option on new models. never upgraded the tarp, never got wet in the rain, added the super shelter, and some times use two sleeping bags in winter. I'm a kayaker so weight isn't as critical for me as backpackers. never changed suspension, became pro at lashing from watching you tube example videos! Worst part about hammock hanging for me has been car camping and park officals not trusting the tree huggers and saying no to hanging. I sleep well in the hammock plus I thnk it's cool! definitely recommend hammock to those who don't sleep well on the ground and those with pain issues.

Have 2Q/ZQ do their magic mod and add the zipper. Best of both worlds. Reasonably priced and the workmanship is beyond reproach.

Agreed. For me, its just annoying getting in and out - forget about setting up my TQ and such.

I did hang with it again (with some advice to increase the sag) and found it much more comfortable. Still small and somewhat confining but much more confortable.

I plan to keep at my Exped but am looking for an Explorer or Safari to really give Hennessy my fair shake.
