Are there any reg. on transporting firewood into MI from out of state. Tried to find info on the DNR site for Yankee Springs and didn't find any refusing to allow this.
I don't know if there's any official regs on it, but it's frowned upon. Emerald Ash borer and all.
Indiana has strict regs even county to county in some cases because of Ash Bore. They do accept wood that has been debarked in most all State Parks. No worries I'll just look for a vendor up there. I would think there should be some near the Rec Area.
I'm hoping to make it. This will be my first hang.
There are usually plenty of people selling wood within a 10 minute drive of the park. I always pick some up on my way in, and this time will be no different!

David14 don't feel lonely, this will be my first official hang outside of the backyard. Hope you can make it.
I'm not liking the long term weather forecast for the weekend of the Hang. 50 to 60 % chance of rain. Hopefully it changes.
